Call for Papers 2023

Introduction 

‘ISSRA Papers’, the only category ‘Y’ Journal of Governance and Public Policy in Pakistan, has established its reputation for publishing robust and quality research papers. The journal has a panel of highly qualified and seasoned reviewers, both local and international. It has been our persistent effort to further improve the standards of our publications and thereby the overall quality of research at NDU. With this premise, we invite researchers to come forward and contribute their papers to ISSRA Papers, which we assure, are always selected on merit. 

Scope of the Journal 

  1. ISSRA Papers primarily deals with research on Governance and Public Policy issues carried out by the researchers, faculty and students at NDU and affiliated Colleges. Some of the subjects of ISSRA Papers are as follows:- 
    • Governance 
    • Scientific and Technological Developments in the fields of defence and armament. c. Leadership and Management Sciences 
    • Behavioral Sciences 
    • Policy Studies 
    • Youth and Urban Affairs 
    • Religious and Sectarian Issues 
    • Socio-economic and Political Affairs 
    • Sports, Fine Arts and Culture 
    • Any other subject being researched at NDU, basing on the theme and quality of the paper received for publication. 
  2. The desirous authors are requested to send soft / hard copies of their articles to Editor ISSRA Papers by 31 January 2023, positively.

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS 

  1. Abstract: 150-250 words 
  2. Manuscripts Length: 3500-5500 words 
  3. Font and Size: Constantia, 12 
  4. Spacing: 1.5 
  5. Margin: 1 inch on each side 
  6. Biographic Sketch of Author: 50 words 
  7. Referencing:(Endnotes only) The Chicago Manual of Style (17th Edition) specimen online available at www.lib.voguelph.ca/assistance/writing-services & www.cooklibrary.Towson.edu 
  8. Soft copy to be sent: editor-issrapapers@ndu.edu.pk
  9. Hard copy to be sent: Editor, ISSRA Papers, ISSRA, NDU E-9, Islamabad.

HONORARIUM

          Authors of published articles are given a modest honorarium.
