Pakistan has always remained an important country in world politics, even with its economic issues. The world is moving towards connectivity, and those projects are overshadowing other emotional or ideological considerations primarily because economics and the mouths to feed in the country by the state have taken precedence over other derivatives. Moreover, the distribution of resources in the world and the need of a particular country that can only be fulfilled by holding resources of other states has pushed the mindset into economic collaboration, and that has provided stimulus to develop infrastructure and connectivity projects to inflate national
economic health. This paper explains the above-mentioned phenomenon from Pakistan’s perspective and how various connectivity projects are important and a confidence booster for Pakistan to pursue a path where economies are intertwined. This paper also highlights the challenges and illustrates, through various projects, the importance of such connectivity projects. To conclude, this paper will present some policy considerations and conclude that Pakistan must clear the path for foreign investors to make these projects a complete success, and in return, these projects will make Pakistan a success in the economic arena.
